We have a 2002 road king, and often ride double.  We know what the recommended air pressure should be...but does anyone have any experience with different pressure settings?  Total human weight is about 300 lbs.

If you like a soft ride keep it low. I have an 05 Roadglide. Single I ride with 20 to 22 lbs with my wife 30 lbs. 35 lbs is max recommended for my bike. Check your manual for your model year and don't use pressurized air use a hand pump only to fill. The system does leak so you need to check once a month or so. Try 25 then try 30 and see what you like. Enjoy.
I HAVE A SOFT TAIL AND MY BOOK SAY'S 38 LBS. SINGLE 41 LBS DOUBLE RIDER. CHECK YOUR BOOK.

Run 20-25 when single and 40-45 when 2 up on the eg classic. 40 when 2 up seems the best for us and makes the bike feel like it's only me running 20-25. Ride safe
Thanks so much for the input guys. We appreciate it very much. Sometimes the manual is too cut and dried, with no variables.
